We chose to eat inside for our first dinner here. The atmosphere was wonderful and our waitress was very attentive and helpful. We had fabulous steaks- done exactly as we like! The side dishes were also very good. After we finished, we walked down to the river to enjoy that lovely view. I think we’ll eat outside next time to enjoy that view! The drive is an hour for us, but well worth the trip!

This was a fantastic stop. We drove 2 1/2 hrs to get here. The Catfish was perfect, the Cajun Soup was delicious. We also had the Cajun Shrimp . Service was awesome and the whole restaurant inside and outside was outstanding right on the Withlacoochee River. Definitely worth the stop.

Great authentic southern food. Louisiana style gator is amazing and I definitely prefer that over the gator steak I had years ago. The meals come fully stocked at stumpknockers too.

Large portions of Southern fried foods. Service was phenomenal, very fast. Limited beer menu. Beautiful spot on the water.

Fun atmosphere! Food was really good and portion sizes were very generous. Prices were reasonable. Service was friendly and food came out super fast. We'll def be back.

We went to this place as a party of 20 for a celebration dinner. We had a reservation before hand and they handled it very well. We did sit inside so we didn’t explore the various features listed in other reviews of the outside. But the service was outstanding! They were quick, polite, and efficient. The reason for the four star is the food. It was just okay. I would recommend the conch fritters, the stuffed flounder, and the catfish. Those seemed to be the overwhelming favorites of the group.

Delicious food & even better service for our lunch date!! I picked their lunch special to turn one of the fish platters into a sandwich and it was so juicy & tasty!! My husband got their white fish special of the day and also loved it! We also devoured our fried green tomatoes appetizer. Definitely support local and come try them!

Love this place! We had crab legs and steak with gator bites as an appetizer. Their homemade sauces are delicious. Everything was cooked just right, the service was great, and there is ample seating both indoors and out. Only suggestion is to serve real butter.
